Does Emerald arrange inland transportation on its own, or only with freight?
Both. Inland transport is available as a standalone service or bundled with ocean, air, customs, and warehousing — bundling usually improves coordination at handover points.
Can Emerald manage refrigerated cargo?
Yes — refrigerated and temperature-controlled units are available for cargo such as pharmaceuticals and perishable food products. Temperature requirements should be specified at quotation so the right unit is assigned.
How are oversized loads handled?
Oversized and irregular cargo is surveyed first: dimensions, weight, lifting points, route restrictions, and permits. We then assign appropriate equipment — flatbed, step deck, or double-drop where available — and plan the movement window.
Do you coordinate port and airport pickups?
Yes — trucking is scheduled against vessel or flight arrival and customs release, reducing storage and demurrage exposure at Egyptian seaports and airports.
